Obama is so far to the Right of Most Presidents of the Last 80 Years

The Democrats described in this article are well to the right of the CONSERVATIVE European parties. Obama is trying to straddle the line between the Democrats and the extreme right wing Republicans. Therefore, Obama is a very right wing politician who is serving Corporate and elitist interests.

That he is not right wing is fantasy. Jimmy Carter, Lyndon Johnson, John Kennedy, and Harry Truman are four examples of presidents who were much to the left of Obama. Eisenhower (a Republican) was also to the left of Obama.

I have a job and my own business, but if I was jobless, I doubt I could get a job. There has not been a single, solitary net job created since 2001 in the United States. In other words, the US has just as many jobs now as it did in 2001, but it has 20 million more people.

So I am trying to figure out what is the most ignorant thing about your asinine comment. Is it your assumption that anti-Obama people don't have jobs? Is it that pro Nader people don't have jobs? Is it that high approval ratings mean anything when the election is more than 3 years away? Or is it that you can automatically get a job in an economy where jobs are being rapidly LOST, the worst economy since the Great Depression? Oh well, does it really matter? About the only good thing about the Waxman proposal is that it apparently provides Medicaid to most poor people, whereas right now Medicaid has convoluted restrictions that keep many poor people out. But the plan is a hellish nightmare for those with low but higher than poverty incomes. And overall of course, it is a dead on arrival disaster of a plan.
