Obama up the Creek Without a Paddle

Obama was left up the creek without a paddle, but so far he has not even been willing to hike out of the right wing wilderness.

So let me get this straight. The enemy is supposed to be inflamed if the pictures are released, but not inflamed if the pictures are not released, if there is a coverup, and if they have to imagine anything they want to imagine is in the pictures that they don't get to see?

I think they are going to be very inflamed either way.

So sorry, but if you are going to cover up things, at least come up with a better reason than that.

Money from Nothing and for Nothing

When the US dollar drops out from being the World's reserve currency, there won't be money anymore for this type of thing. There won't be anything to vote on.

This could happen in as little as 25 years from now, but probably it will be longer.

Hopefully, economic and other assistance to prevent extremism, which is far cheaper and more effective at preventing extremism than fighting wars, will still be affordable even when the World currency becomes something other than the US dollar.

This Economic Collapse will not be Investigated

Right wingers make money every way they can, illegal, immoral, unethical, and society-ruining ways included. More logical and reasonable people like to have investigations all the time.

However, these investigations, if not followed up with real prohibitions and prevention of unethical and society-ruining ways of making money, are basically a waste of time, regardless of any feel good overlay.

A society as ruined as (and as ruinous toward other countries as) the United States needs far more than investigations and hearings.

Obama is either a puppet on a string or a dumb fool for thinking that it's alright for huge corporations to be too big to fail and for them to be able to hold the economy and the society hostage.

The huge corporations have been speaking from on high to the common people: "A bailout for us or your economy dies..." And Obama has been obeying their commands. But laugh out loud, what a mockery of the concept of the free market.

Obama is Deep in the Right Wing Hole

The United States has been under right wing control for so long, since January 1981 at least, that it really does not matter much what Obama really thinks about things. Obama is like a bit player in a right wing play. Or a puppet show.

Starting in January 2009 from the deep hole that the right wing put the country in, Obama can only do so much without taking all kinds of huge risks, including having any chance for reelection being ended due to an anti-Obama propaganda campaign mounted by the media, which can happen should that media get upset about Obama not being subservient enough to the elites who became elites during the previous three decades.

Because remember, the elites run the big media companies like they do all the other big companies.

That is not meant to be an excuse for Obama, only a hard reality type of observation.

Remember the jokes about "who in their right mind would want to win the Presidency in 2008?" Those jokes were and are still on point.
